The third is to further enhance regional collaborative innovation capabilities. 31 scientific and technological innovation projects will be implemented, major scientific and technological infrastructure projects such as the Jinping Deep Earth Laboratory will be completed and put into use, and major innovation platforms such as the Chengdu-Chongqing Comprehensive Science Center and the Western Science City will be accelerated. Large scientific devices such as the China Earthquake Science Experimental Field will be constructed, and the Chengdu-Chongqing region is accelerating to become an important source of scientific and technological innovation in the country.
